SafarWay Booking Terms
These terms explain how SafarWay handles requests, confirmations and private driver transport in Morocco.
Contents
1. Scope
These terms apply to requests and private driver transport services arranged by SafarWay in Morocco.
SafarWay provides private intercity transport, airport arrivals and departures, one-way and return journeys where available, driver-by-the-day service, multi-day private transport, private circuits for the transport component agreed with the customer, and solutions for families, groups and business travellers.
The booked vehicle is not shared with other customers — only people on your confirmed booking travel together. This is transport with a driver, not self-drive car rental or full tour organisation.
2. Request and booking confirmation
Requests and bookings are handled mainly through WhatsApp and email. WhatsApp is the most direct way to reach SafarWay.
The website quote form can prepare a WhatsApp or email (mailto) message. Opening WhatsApp or your email app does not create a booking — you must send the request.
A request sent by WhatsApp or email is not automatically a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only when:
- You send the transport details
- SafarWay checks the request and availability
- SafarWay communicates the service and fare
- SafarWay and you explicitly confirm the booking by WhatsApp or email
The online quote form prepares your message to be sent manually via WhatsApp or email (mailto). Opening WhatsApp or your email app does not prove that a request was sent or received.
3. Information to provide
Please provide:
- Pickup location
- Destination
- Date and preferred pickup time
- Number of passengers
- Luggage quantity and size
- Flight number, return journey, requested stops, child seat, bulky equipment or useful comments, where relevant
SafarWay may use a map pin or shared location to coordinate pickup. Accurate information helps propose a suitable vehicle and fare.
4. Fare and what it includes
You are informed of the applicable fare before the service is confirmed.
The confirmed fare is the fare agreed for the booked service. It includes the charges required to complete the confirmed journey and no hidden fees are added.
Personal expenses and third-party activities not part of the agreed transport are not included in the fare.
If you materially change the destination, route or scope of service, SafarWay reviews the service and may propose a new fare, communicated and agreed before the change is confirmed.
5. Payment
Payment is made in cash at the start of the journey, when the driver meets you for pickup. SafarWay accepts Moroccan dirham (MAD) and euro (EUR).
No deposit or advance payment is required to confirm a booking. Payment is made in cash at the start of the journey.
6. Cancellation
Cancellation is free. If you need to cancel your journey, contact SafarWay as soon as possible by WhatsApp or email so the booking can be removed from the schedule.
SafarWay does not charge arbitrary cancellation fees or impose a minimum 24- or 48-hour notice period.
7. Changes to a booking
A change to pickup time or date is free when reported in advance and when service organisation allows the new schedule.
If you change the route, destination, major itinerary or scope of service, SafarWay reviews the service and communicates a new fare where necessary. The modified journey is confirmed only after your agreement.
8. Pickup and communication
At the agreed time, the customer should be at the agreed pickup point. SafarWay often coordinates the exact location through a shared map pin.
To help with pickup, the customer should be at the agreed point and remain reachable on the phone number or contact method used for the booking.
We recommend keeping your phone available and, where reasonably possible, mobile network or data access.
For hotel, address or agreed-point pickups, if the customer remains absent and unreachable despite reasonable contact attempts, SafarWay may close the pickup and the driver may leave. No no-show penalty is applied.
9. Airport transfers and flight delays
For airport pickup, provide your flight number when booking. SafarWay follows the reported flight status to adjust pickup timing in case of delay or arrival change.
The customer should remain reachable after landing and, where possible, have mobile network or data access.
The driver waits through the normal passenger arrival and exit process. SafarWay attempts to contact the customer if they cannot be found at the agreed point.
If the normal arrival flow has ended, the passenger remains absent and no response is received despite several contact attempts, the driver may leave the pickup location.
If you have trouble locating the driver, contact SafarWay as soon as possible by WhatsApp or email.
10. Stops and route changes
Reasonable short stops may be made during the journey when they remain compatible with the agreed itinerary.
A major detour, new destination, major direction change or substantial itinerary change may require a new fare, communicated and agreed with the customer before the change.
11. Passengers, luggage and equipment
Please tell us the number of suitcases and any bulky luggage when you enquire. This allows SafarWay to plan a vehicle suited to passenger count and luggage volume.
Surfboards and other bulky equipment should be declared in advance. Bicycle transportation is not offered.
SafarWay can organise group solutions for up to 18 passengers depending on passenger count, luggage, vehicle configuration and availability — without any single vehicle always guaranteeing that capacity.
12. Child seats
A child seat can be provided free of charge on prior request. Please mention it when booking so SafarWay can arrange availability.
13. Vehicle and replacement
SafarWay selects a suitable vehicle based on passenger count, luggage, route, service needs and availability. A specific model is guaranteed only if expressly confirmed.
If circumstances require a vehicle change, SafarWay proposes a suitable solution and informs the customer. Replacement is agreed with the customer before pickup when possible.
If the assigned vehicle has a breakdown or technical problem preventing the service from continuing, SafarWay arranges a replacement vehicle to continue the transport, as reasonably possible under the circumstances.
14. Rules on board
No smoking or alcohol consumption is permitted inside the vehicle.
15. Delays and unforeseen circumstances
External circumstances — exceptional traffic, road closure, severe weather, accident, authority restrictions or unforeseen operational disruption — may affect journey organisation.
In such cases, SafarWay communicates with the customer and seeks a practical transport solution where reasonably possible, without guaranteeing an outcome outside its control.
16. Personal belongings
Before leaving the vehicle, the customer is invited to check personal belongings. SafarWay cannot be held responsible for items forgotten or lost after the journey.
If you report a forgotten item, SafarWay may try to locate and return it where possible.
