How to arrange private transport for families and groups in Morocco

Travelling as a larger family or group raises practical questions that individual transport rarely solves. A private vehicle sized to the group and arranged in advance simplifies the logistics considerably.

Why group details matter

A family or group journey is not prepared like a trip for two. Seat count, luggage volume, child seats and meeting points determine the vehicle and the organisation.

Approximate details often lead to follow-up questions before a reliable quote can be shared. The clearer the group composition from the start, the more useful the reply.

Exact passenger number

State the total number of people travelling, including adults and children. Anyone who occupies a seat must be counted, including young children who need a child seat.

If the group size may still change, give a range and confirm the final number as soon as it is fixed.

Children and child seats

For families, state how many children are travelling, their approximate age or weight, and how many child seats are needed. Include this in the initial request.

Child seats are not prepared on the day of travel. Availability depends on advance planning.

Declared luggage

Families with young children often travel with more luggage: pushchairs, baby equipment, extra bags. Adult groups can also carry a large volume.

Give the total number of bags and flag bulky items. Luggage volume can influence vehicle choice as much as passenger count.

Surfboards and special luggage

Surfboards, foldable wheelchairs, pushchairs or bulky sports equipment must be declared in the request, with dimensions if known.

SafarWay will confirm whether carriage is possible with the vehicle under consideration. Bicycle transportation is not offered as an available service.

Vehicle selection

SafarWay selects the vehicle based on passenger count, declared luggage and availability. A specific model cannot be guaranteed in advance.

Not every group automatically receives the largest vehicle. Selection matches the real needs stated in the request.

Vehicles for groups of up to 18 passengers

SafarWay can arrange transport for groups of up to 18 passengers. That does not mean every model seats 18 people, or that a single vehicle is always assigned.

For larger groups, give the exact headcount and overall luggage volume so that one or more suitable vehicles can be planned.

Airport pick-up

For a group arrival, state the airport, flight number, landing time and the name for the welcome sign. A group arriving together is usually simpler than staggered arrivals.

If members arrive on different flights, list each flight and the shared meeting point you prefer.

Hotel and riad pick-up

From a hotel, the meeting usually takes place at reception. From a medina riad, the point must be precise: gate, main street or place agreed with the property.

Pass on any instructions from your accommodation. They prevent unnecessary searching on departure day.

Accessible meeting points

Some locations are not vehicle-accessible. In that case, name the nearest accessible point and the approximate walking time if you know it.

For groups with pushchairs, heavy luggage or reduced mobility, an accessible meeting point is especially important.

One-way and return travel

State whether you need a one-way journey or a return. For a return, give the date, time and addresses if they differ.

A return is not automatically included in an outbound request. Each direction must be requested and confirmed.

Stops along the way

If the journey includes stops — a break, a short visit, dropping a passenger — mention them in the request. SafarWay can factor them into planning.

Unannounced stops during the journey cannot always be guaranteed, especially with timing constraints.

Coordinating more than one vehicle

When passenger count or luggage exceeds what one suitable vehicle can carry, more than one vehicle may be needed. That decision follows review of the request; it is not automatic.

Name a single coordinator to centralise details, confirmations and any programme changes.

Business and agency enquiries

Associations, companies, schools or trip organisers can request a quote for group travel. State the nature of the group, participant count, dates and locations.

SafarWay does not claim existing agency or hotel partnerships. Each request is handled individually. Transport is arranged between agreed points; accommodation, meals and tickets remain the group’s responsibility.

What to send before requesting a quote

Before you send the request, gather the exact passenger count, child-seat needs, luggage volume, addresses, date, time and any stops.

The more complete the request, the faster the reply. An incomplete request for a large group may need several exchanges.

Arrange your group departure

Share passenger numbers, dates and locations. SafarWay communicates the fare before confirmation. No service is recorded without prior agreement.
