How to plan a private multi-day journey in Morocco
A private multi-day journey with SafarWay in Morocco is organised transport between agreed points — not an all-inclusive package. Understanding what the service covers and what it does not is the starting point for a well-organised trip.

Transfer versus multi-day journey
A one-off transfer usually links one departure point to one destination on a given date and time. A multi-day journey chains several stages, cities or movements with the same vehicle dedicated to your group.
That distinction changes what you need to prepare: for a multi-day itinerary, the order of stages, dates between days and daily pick-up expectations become essential.
Starting location
Give the first-day starting point precisely: airport, hotel, riad or address. If departure is from a medina, name the vehicle-accessible meeting point.
A vague start delays the quote and complicates planning for the first segment.
Final destination
State where the journey ends: last city, accommodation or departure airport. If the final day is a transfer to a flight, add useful flight details.
The final destination shapes the last segment as much as the start shapes the first.
Cities and planned stages
List the cities or stages you want to connect, in the order you have in mind. Marrakech, Ouarzazate, Merzouga and Fès appear often, but the itinerary is not fixed until it is agreed.
SafarWay does not impose a standard circuit. No fixed itinerary is offered unless specifically agreed later.
Dates
Give the travel dates between stages, or at least the start and end dates with the day-by-day order. Without a calendar, availability cannot be checked reliably.
If some dates remain flexible, say so clearly.
Passenger number
State the total number of passengers for the whole journey, including children. If the group changes mid-trip, say when.
This information shapes the vehicle for all days, not only the first transfer.
Luggage
On a multi-day journey, luggage often stays in the vehicle between stages. Give the total volume for the group, including special equipment.
An underestimated volume can become awkward from the second or third day onward.
Planned stops
Mention stops you want between stages: sites, villages, breaks. Once confirmed, those stops become part of the transport plan.
Stops added during the journey may not be feasible or may require an adjustment.
Daily pick-up expectations
State roughly when you prefer to leave each morning, and whether any days have special constraints.
These expectations help shape the rhythm of the journey. They remain to be confirmed with the quote and are not a fixed timetable until accepted.
Accessible pick-up and drop-off locations
For each stage, name vehicle-accessible points when accommodation is in a medina or hard-to-reach area.
Clear points for each day reduce meeting delays and misunderstandings with the driver.
Vehicle selection
The vehicle is chosen according to passenger count, luggage and the nature of the journey. A specific model is not guaranteed in advance.
See the vehicles page for available types; final selection depends on the real request.
Families and groups
For a family or group, add child-seat needs, luggage volume and a single coordinator if the group is large.
SafarWay can arrange travel for groups of up to 18 passengers, with one or more vehicles depending on composition.
What transportation includes
The service includes only confirmed transportation: private vehicle and driver between agreed points for the agreed days.
That can cover intercity travel, airport transfers at the start or end, and intermediate movements planned in the confirmed itinerary.
What is not automatically included
Several elements are not automatically part of a private multi-day transport journey. Only confirmed transportation services are included.
The following sections cover the most common points: accommodation, meals, entry tickets and guides.
Accommodation
Accommodation is not automatically included. Hotels, riads, guesthouses or bivouacs are not booked by SafarWay as part of the transport service.
You arrange nights separately. Still share accommodation addresses as soon as possible, because they serve as pick-up and drop-off points.
Meals
Meals are not automatically included. No breakfast, lunch or dinner is provided within the transport service.
If you want meal breaks at specific times, mention them as possible stops; the meals themselves remain your responsibility.
Attraction tickets
Entry tickets to sites, museums, gardens or monuments are not automatically included. Those costs remain separate.
The driver provides transport to the agreed place; access to the site is not managed by SafarWay.
Tour guides
A driver is not automatically a licensed tour guide. They do not provide regulated guiding and are not positioned as a guide.
If you want commented accompaniment at sites, arrange a licensed guide separately. The driver remains responsible for transport.
Journey changes
Changes after confirmation — a cancelled stage, moved date, added stop — should be shared as soon as possible. They may affect the fare or feasibility.
Applicable conditions are set out in the booking terms. Enough notice gives the best chance of a workable adjustment.
Quote preparation
For a reliable quote, gather start, final destination, stages, dates, passengers, luggage and daily pick-up expectations. A quote request is not an automatic booking.
SafarWay shares the fare and conditions before any confirmation. Organisation starts only after both sides agree.
